Increase Your Self Confidence with Exercise

Setting a fitness goal is a fantastic way to learn and experience the building of self-confidence. Your self confidence is based on your belief in yourself to achieve whatever it is that you want out of life (your goals). What is so insightful about working towards a fitness goal is that you learn how sensitive your goal (aka, building muscle, losing fat, etc.) is to the input of what you spend your time doing (aka, your training, nutrition and recovery). When you consistently train with good nutrition and recovery, significant body recomposition changes, like fat loss and muscle gain, can happen in just a few months. And the opposite is also true, where forgoing consistent training, or forgoing good nutrition can lead to muscle loss and fat gain. If your time is spent doing activities that promote the development of skills and abilities that lead you to achieving your goals, then your self-confidence will be high. In contrast, if you spend our time doing activities that do not promote the development of skills and abilities that would lead you to achieving our goals, then you will lack self-confidence. If there is a mismatch between what you spend your time doing and your goals, I consider modifying one or the other so that they are aligned. Doing so will help increase your self-confidence tremendously!
